God’s Sowing the Next Seed!
Jeremiah 31:27 Behold, the days come , saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
God said he’s sowing the next seed in your life. Finally, you’re good ground! and what we thought was an overturning in our life was really the tilling of the soil, the breaking up of the fallow ground. Now, its planting season for the Spring of your life.
Seed, man, beast; See, God sows in triplicate,(That’s a word all by itself!) each thing having life in itself. God says my seed is a seed that produces seed producers!
Seed-Word. The Bible says the Sower soweth the word; God is heavily into conversation. He’s speaking on your behalf, framing your world according to what he said about it.
Man-Copulation. The seed of man carries both X and Y chromosomes. Fruit and legacy. Whether it be X or Y, A or B, it’s still gonna be good and God!
Beast-Labor, endurance, burden bearing, support. This is something to help lighten your load. It can even carry you, no matter what the weight, there’s help. Support.
See, these are the last planting days of the year. God’s gotta maximize the remainder of it. Yes, its a time of harvest, but what better time for God to sow, when man can no longer take the credit for what you reap next. So, what does the seed of God look like? Continuous impartation. Seed-Keep a word to give. Man-Keep being worthy to give it. Beast-Keep laboring to get the word out. Before the gluttony of the holidays kicks in, before the ground freezes over, God says he has to give to his people. God is sowing the next seed in your life. He loves you and had saved his best for times when you were at your last. The scripture says the House of Israel and the House of Judah, this sowing is entirely about his investment in his people. It’s about where you will live, where you will stay, what covers you, what keeps you safe from the elements, It’s about the churches we attend, the places we praise and worship: God himself is sowing into the edifices that house his people.
In all this season of harvest, let’s not neglect these last days to get seeded into and to get our seed in the ground.
